And the piano, it sounds like a carnival...

...and the microphone smells like a beer...(well, maybe a white wine ;-).

I needed a card for our lovely piano teacher too... I left it to the last minute (like a well-prepared mum would) then I forgot to photograph it, until I was literally on my way out the door. Please forgive the poorly lit shots below...

I don't think there is much more needs saying about this. Note the use of gold-striped Washi tape to secure the pressie (which was a box of pretty washi tapes itself). I use Washi for all manner of things and love it to bits! My favourite supplier is Karen from Washimatta on Etsy.

Project Recipe:

Cardstock: Basic Black, Glossy White and Brushed Gold
Punches: Word Window and Corner Rounder
Accessories: Music Embossing Folder (PTI) and Gold Cord (SU - Retired).

Blogged to: MasterChef Australia 2012.

Awesome card, very clever and just perfect for the piano teacher. Love your wrapping - I think you're the Queen of washi.

Hi Sam! It's me! Yes ... Me! It has been awhile ... My only excuse is somehow you dropped off my bookmark list (how i followed blogs) after one of my computer crashes!!! Not really an excuse ... But i guess no one would have their whole blog list tucked into their brain for reference ... Hence the need for computers! I hope you know I have missed popping by! I have spent the last 30 mins cruising around checking out cards & cakes ... And (of course) ... Saving a few ideas for future use! Phew! I have missed out on so much goodness and wonderful creativity! But ... I have recently set up my google reader & have now added you to my reader list ... So I won't miss out on anything! 2011 was a difficult year... But we survived! 2012 is going well ... But I am busy with new responsibilities ... Working for hubby 2 days a week & babysitting my 1 year old grand-daughter 2 days a week. Stamping is now a much loved pleasure that I don't get a lot of time for ... And I am finding the longer I go the less mojo I have. But ... Hopefully re-finding one of my FAV sources of inspiration & blog fun ... you can help with that! Chat soon! Hugs xxx
