A couple of cards from me

I missed last week's Colour Inspiration by Kristina Werner, but thought I'd give them a go anyway. I might add that I found them VERY difficult colours to work with, and my inspiration headed for the Brindabellas (our local hills) as soon as it saw them!!



Here is my very simple card:



It is a 5 x 5 inch square card with stamps from the Heartfelt Thanks set. Here is a close-up showing the Crystal Effects I used on the flower.



I was playing with scraps of cardstock at my table afterwards and also made this little card...I find it strangely pleasing on my eye (might have been the cold??):



It is one of Stampin' up!'s 3 x 3 inch Love Notes, and has been punched with a whole bunch of punches (obviously ;-).
