.....okay, so its not a card...

...it is not even made from paper, but it does look pretty (IMO ;-)!!!

This is the cake I made for the kids birthday party today.

The design is from the Women's Weekly Birthday cake mag. I thought it would be harder to make than it actually was. A couple of Buttercake packet mixes in the ring tins, whipped up the night before. Then two hours, some Betty Crocker Vanilla Icing coloured with Pillarbox Red and Blue, and two WHOLE packets of Pascal's Jubes sliced in half. The placement of those darn jubes was the most labour intensive part of the whole thing, but worth of every minute to see how excited the kids were!

Sam.

BTW - Yes! We have enough cake left over to last at about a week!

OMG Time intensive Sam! lol....I took one look at the jellies on the snake and thought blimey charlie (or something to that effect...lol!) It does look super swish though and I bet the kids loved it :) Are you sure there is no paper in that darn snake?

Cool cake Sam! I spent about 5 hours on Balthazar's cake last year!!! What is with that? BTW - your snake looks so much better than his Mario cake did! Great job with the jube 'mosaicing'(is that even a word?!)
