I just wanted to quickly let you know that our new family member project has been published!
Our little man 'Thumper' popped into the world (literally - you should have heard/seen it when my waters broke...I even got a midwife who'd only just entered the room and was a metre away!!) in the wee, wee hours of Saturday morning after 3 hours of labour. We made it to the hospital with a whole 47 minutes to spare and someone met me at the door to start the crafting party (I was so excited I barely made it to the table ;-). He weighed in at 4020 g and 53 cm long...so a modest addition to my little crafting trolley.
It's no glamour shot...there'll be some of those to follow at some point...but this shot has feeling...and even some interesting crafty texture, no? I thought some of you might appreciate the liberal application of distressed edges ;-). As you can see the glue hasn't dried on this little chap...I'll be back when it has.

Congratulations, Sam! We had a similar story with our third baby, made it to the hospital with 12 minutes to spare and I was in the delivery room for five minutes.

Hugest congrats! This is one craft project I don't plan to CASE! HA! He's beautiful and I'm so glad you made it with time to spare. My 2nd son's head was crowning when I got out of the car at the hospital and he was born 1 contraction later in the ER!!
